Jen is a native Tucsonan and grew up feeling she had a much protected childhood where playing and imagination were encouraged. This nostalgia is part of what drew her and her family to the Waldorf community. Jen loves the focus on child development and the freedom the child has to play. She holds a Master’s of Counseling from Walden University with undergraduate focus in Early Childhood Education and Child Development. Her family has been a part of the Tucson Waldorf School community since 2010. Jen loves being in nature, yoga, photography and knitting. Jen’s family includes her husband, Kyle, an electrician and handyman, her daughter Lotus, sons Ayden and Maxx and their dog, three cats, six chickens and two bearded dragons.
