Linda Biederman is originally from Southern California, where she attended K-8, later attending prep school and college in Massachusetts. Linda holds teaching credentials for kindergarten through twelfth grade in Art and French. She was initially attracted to the beauty of the classrooms, the focus on play, and the value placed on nature in Waldorf Education. Her children started in the TWS Nursery program in 2010 and Linda began her volunteer work with the school as a room parent in the Star Garden Kindergarten. In 2013, Linda took on the leadership of the Parent Council and has continued to develop and strengthen the PC role in school life. In 2014, Linda joined the TWS Board as the Parent Council representative.
Linda’s professional experience includes time teaching French in a public middle school in Bozeman, Montana and at a private high school in Connecticut. Linda and her husband, Joel, have two children currently enrolled in the TWS grades program, Axel, and Lucie. In her free time, Linda enjoys cycling, camping , cooking, painting and singing.
