Ms. Merrill is from Tucson Arizona, and is currently finishing her Associate of Science degree at Pima Community College, and plans to receive her undergraduate degree in Biology. Her future plans include further education focusing on neuro-movement and development in children. Waldorf education’s focus on movement, particularly in early childhood development, initially drew her to learn more about the approach. Christabelle has filled many roles in her time with TWS. She started in 2009 working in the early childhood extended day program and had the privilege of working as an assistant in the Nursery. After spending a year working with children at an Occupational Therapy clinic, Ms. Merrill is happy to be back in her new position as an aide in the first grade class. She appreciates the opportunities to learn about sensory integration and remedial work with children afforded by her past experiences. Christabelle plays violin in a band with Miss Leila Lopez at various venues around Tucson. She enjoys reading science fiction novels and sewing. Miss Merrill feels fortunate to be a part of this loving and caring community where children develop their own path in life with confidence.
