River Bend Farm & Craft Fair | December

The River Bend Farm and Craft Fair is a fun-filled, community-building event for families. The Farm & Craft Fair celebrates Waldorf education with unique games and activities and handmade craft items created by TWS parents. Each year, children and adults enjoy beeswax candle making, traditional field games, hands-on crafts in the “Elves Workshop,” secret shopping for children in the magical “Angel Room,” a puppet play, cake walks, tractor/hay rides, farm animal petting zoo and pony rides, face painting, feather hair extensions, henna body art, live music and performances, food trucks, farm tours and artisan demonstrations including spinning wool and hammering/metal work.

The event serves as a bridge to foster awareness of our school in the greater community. The Farm and Craft Fair is organized and operated by our parent volunteers. It is expected that each family contribute in some way to Farm and Craft Fair held on the first Saturday in December.

Spring Silent Auction | April

This gala event in the spring is an adult-only evening that features great food, music, live entertainment, and silent and live auctions. The Silent Auction is organized by the Development Office and parent volunteers.
