Wynter has a long history in Waldorf education. She attended Acorn Hill Waldorf School in Silver Springs, Maryland and Washington Waldorf School in Bethesda, Maryland through Grade 5. She has very fond memories of playing, painting with watercolors, watching puppet plays, singing, circle time, and dancing on a woodland Waldorf playground. Wynter holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts with training in graphic design. In her professional life, she has worn many hats: At the Oneness Family Peace School in Maryland, she worked as an administrator, medical supervisor, and special events coordinator. Wynter’s first position at TWS was in the Marigold Garden Nursery, where she assisted lead teacher Ms. Andrea for three years. She learned so much from working with the nursery children; the lessons in patience, understanding, clear communication and love have carried her in the work she now does as an administrator. Wynter’s daughter, now in the grades, began attending Tucson Waldorf School in the preschool/nursery program at age 2 1/2. Her passions include painting and creating wonderful play things for her daughter with her hands. She loves to go on walks and garden with her daughter any chance she gets.
