Miss Maggie is originally from Arkansas and has lived on the East and West coasts. She was attracted to Waldorf education because of the opportunity for young children to connect socially and with nature through play in a warm and nurturing environment. Miss Maggie earned her Waldorf teacher certification at Sunbridge College in New York. Her Waldorf teaching experience includes two years at the Princeton Waldorf School and seven years at the Three Cedars Waldorf school, now part of the Seattle Waldorf School. Miss Maggie moved to Tucson in 2015 with her two children– one a Tucson Waldorf School student and the other, a high school student with 10 years of Waldorf education.
In her free time, Miss Maggie enjoys knitting, biking and hiking in the Tucson sun.
