Learn how to make a Waldorf style ‘Heavy Baby’ doll
Heavy Babies are bunting type dolls with simple facial features made with a unique combination of wool and millet stuffing. The millet gives the doll weight that mimics the feel of a real baby. Great for the toddlerwho wants to lift heavy items from place to place. This weight also has a settling and reassuring quality for those children who need extra sensory help.
Cost: $45 to make one doll (or $30 to make two dolls: one to take home and one to donate to the Waldorf School’s Annual Farm & Craft Fair).
