Playgarden

Welcome to the Playgarden education programs at Tucson Waldorf School. In the first 7 years of life, a child grows and develops more than in any other period. Tucson Waldorf School supports a strong foundation of social, physical and artistic development through a rhythmical and seasonal curriculum. These instrumental years are the gateway for children as they begin to unfold their capacities and their love of life and learning.

The Playgarden faculty work together to bring the Waldorf pedagogy to life and are motivated by a desire to make a difference in the lives of children and their parents. We invite you to learn more about our programs by visiting in person and taking a tour with Enrollment Director, Jade Hines.  We look forward to meeting you and your children.

The task of the kindergarten teacher is to adjust the work taken from daily life so that it becomes suitable for the children’s play activities. The whole point is to give young children the opportunity to imitate, to imitate life in a pure and wholesome way.
