About Tucson Waldorf School

Established in 1993, TWS is an independent Waldorf school serving families from Early Childhood through Grade 8. Our comprehensive programs include parent-child classes, nursery, kindergarten, and grades one through eight. As Arizona’s only full member of both AWSNA (Association of Waldorf Schools of North America) and WECAN (Waldorf Early Childhood Association of North America), we take pride in providing an education that nurtures the whole child.

Now Hiring:

Orchestra teacher

Tucson Waldorf School is looking for an Orchestra teacher to conduct string ensembles (violin, viola, and cello) in 4th through 8th grade. The position is a total of 12 teaching periods (40 minutes each) per week, with some time for preparation and tuning, on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays from 11:00 to 3:00. The ideal candidate has experience teaching groups of students (class size 15 to 23) and possesses good musical skills, initiative, and classroom management.
