Rebecca was born in Spain and grew up bilingual in Tucson. She received a Bachelor of Art (with a triple major) in Linguistics, Art History and Spanish Literature from the University of Arizona. In 2001, she began her journey with Tucson Waldorf School as a participant in the parent-child classes with her then 14-month old daughter. Rebecca has always been an active parent volunteer and initially participated in the marketing committee. She has a diverse professional background having worked as a real estate broker as well as a pharmaceutical sales representative for Bayer. She left pharmaceutical sales to be a stay-at-home mom to her two children for nine years, and in 2008, Rebecca joined the administrative team as the Enrollment Director. In Fall of 2021, Rebecca transitioned to the role of Administrative Director. Both of her children are lifelong TWS students (playgroup to Grade 8) and her daughter was in her last year at TWS in fall 2013. Rebecca loves the desert and hiking, and gardening with native plants.
