Pizza Night on the Farm with special guest Bill McDorman

Join us for fresh out of the oven, handmade pizza styled in the old world tradition. Also featured will be side dishes made from fresh farm food and local brew too. Old world tradition meets contemporary agriculture. Enjoy food and drink while visiting with friends, families and experiencing the farm, farm practices and farmers. Special Guest Bill McDorman will speak at 7:00 pm on “Connecting the Dots: The role of small local farms in the greater food system and food security – why they matter.” Bill is the former director Native Seeds/SEARCH with more than 30 years of experience in seed saving and offers an international perspective on food security issues. 6:00 to 9:00 pm. River Road Gardens | 3605 E. River Rd. $5 per person / $20 per family. Children welcome. Supervised activities for children will be provided.
