Geneva was born and raised in Georgia, and earned her Bachelor’s of Education from UGA. After graduation, she traveled the country doing conservation biology field projects before accepting a job in Environmental Education in San Diego. Upon the birth of her daughter Prairie (a rising Grade 3 student at TWS) she moved to Joshua Tree. While in JT, Geneva homeschooled Prairie for preschool using Waldorf techniques, and upon settling in Tucson enrolled her in Waldorf school here. Geneva loves being a part of the Tucson Waldorf School community and is excited to support students in their journey from early education into the grades as Grades Assistant. When not at work she enjoys spending time with her husband Andy, their daughter Prairie, and two naughty cats PeaPod and Daisy, traveling, and exploring their new home in the Sonoran desert.
