Beth Cook

Ms. Beth’s journey with TWS began in the fall of 2022 as a beloved substitute teacher. Her warmth, dedication, and deep connection with the children quickly made her a valued member of our community. The following year, she stepped into the role of assistant teacher, where she has continued to bring joy, creativity, and care to the classroom. Now, with great enthusiasm and a deep commitment to Waldorf education, she is ready to take the next step as a lead teacher.

A Wisconsin native, Beth has a lifelong connection to Waldorf education, having attended Prairie Hill Waldorf School as a child. Her artistic talents were nurtured there, leading her to pursue a fine arts degree in metalsmithing at the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater. She explored a wide range of creative disciplines—from printmaking and sculpture to metalworking and dance—which give a rich artistic perspective to her teaching. She has also led art workshops and finds great joy in guiding young children as they explore materials and create with their hands.

Since moving to Arizona, Beth has been embracing the beauty of the desert, finding inspiration in its unique landscape and wildlife. We are thrilled that she will be bringing her passion, warmth, and dedication to the role of Kindergarten Lead Teacher, and we know she will continue to nurture the magic and wonder of early childhood at TWS.
