Devin Smith
Originally from Scottsdale, Arizona, Devin Smith found her way to Tucson Waldorf School when her daughter, Everly, joined Quail’s Nest at 18 months old. Now with two children at TWS, Everly in Grade 6 and Luca in Grade 2, Devin has seen firsthand how Waldorf education nurtures lifelong learners and whole human beings. The school’s thoughtful, developmentally responsive approach and strong sense of community continue to resonate with her family’s values.
Devin’s involvement in the TWS community began with a work party and has grown into a variety of volunteer roles over the years, including Parent Circle Chair. She finds meaning in contributing to a place that holds and nourishes children and is grateful to be part of such a beautiful community.
A registered nurse at Tucson Medical Center since 2011, Devin works in the Cardiac and Special Procedures Cath Lab on a per diem basis. Outside of work and school life, she enjoys reading, journaling, and discovering delicious food, often planning family travels around culinary adventures.
