Screenagers: Growing up in the Digital Age | Treasuring Childhood Film & Lecture Series 2016-2017

It’s never too late or too early to start thinking about the effects of screen time on your child and family. SCREENAGERS is a feature-length documentary that explores the impact of screen time on kids and offers parents proven solutions that work.  The film probes into the vulnerable corners of family life, including the director’s own, and depicts messy struggles over social media, video games, academics and internet addiction. Through surprising insights from authors and brain scientists, solutions emerge on how we can empower kids to best navigate the digital world.

The filmmakers offer resources to support families as they consider ways to manage the use of social medial and devices in ever changing digital world:
