Rachel Quinn is from Phoenix, AZ, but has also lived in Santa Fe, NM, and Chicago, IL where she received her bachelor’s degree at Columbia College Chicago, and managed photo studios. She has been in Tucson since 2009.
When Rachel had her daughter, she fell in love with Waldorf education bringing her daughter to Ms. Ursula’s Quail’s Nest classes where she gained an understanding of gentle ways to raise children, to help them feel supported and nourished in all the ways: developmentally, emotionally, cognitively and nutritionally. She is a member of the school’s DEIJ Committee, has spent time crafting lovely things in Craft Circle, and attends Parent Council meetings when she can fit them in.
When Rachel is not assisting in the Extended Day Early Childhood classrooms, you can find her in the TWS food truck as part of the dish washing crew, out in nature photographing family portraits, spending time with her daughter at a splash pad or library, making good food, and reading stories to their bearded dragon.
