Ms. Stefanie grew up in Tempe, Arizona. She graduated from Arizona State University with a degree in Psychology. After spending several years in Southern California, she returned to Arizona in 2008. She started a family, having a daughter Audrey, and a son, James. Over the following twelve years, she stayed at home to raise her children. Her exposure to Waldorf began during the pandemic when she used a Waldorf-based curriculum to homeschool her daughter. She fell in love with the Waldorf pedagogy! As a result, she enrolled her son at the Tucson Waldorf School. In 2020 she returned to work as an elementary school art teacher. During the 2022-23 school year, she taught first and second grade at a Waldorf-inspired charter school. Ms. Stefanie is excited and grateful to be a part of the Early Childhood program.
When she is not teaching, she likes to hike, walk her dog, sew, listen to music, and spend time with her kids.
