Our principal annual fundraiser, fresh! is a beautiful spring evening of dancing and socializing, featuring locally crafted beer, a delightful assortment of wine, refreshing cocktails, and a delicious meal. This year’s event is one you won’t want to miss as we introduce a new theme that includes carnival games, a tarot card reader, and many more surprises! Bid on specialty-themed auction baskets and cap the evening off with dancing.  Be sure to bring your poker face for the live auction, then cut loose in the photo booth, wearing your best smiles and some silly props. It’s a night of joyful celebration, candlelight, and laughter under the stars that you’ll remember for years to come.

Auction Benefit

Tthank-you-freshhe success of last year’s event is due in large part to the auction which brought in nearly $20,000! Winners enjoyed such items as a destination trip to Hawaii, a Miraval spa day, jewelry, handmade dolls, one-of-a-kind artwork, and specialty themed baskets brimming with one-of-a-kind experiences and unique treasures from our community. This is a great time to enjoy the company and bid on items.

To make this another successful event, WE NEED YOU!  The auction committee will be soliciting unique items from the community and creating baskets to be auctioned during the night of fresh!. If you are interested in donating or feel you have a connection for securing a unique item, the Development Office is more than happy to discuss this with you or brainstorm ideas.

This a great way to demonstrate your generosity (and promote your business!). We warmly welcome the unique opportunities you can offer. Such donations could include a stay in your vacation home, a chocolate and wine tasting, sporting/concert tickets, private music or dance lessons, or special outings to places you love.

Donations should be received no later than April 10th to be included in the auction. TWS is a 501c(3) nonprofit organization and your donation is fully tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law. We also ask merchants in the Tucson community to make donations. If you have a relationship with a shop, restaurant, or service provider, we will be happy to provide you with donation forms and help in any way. Contact Melissa Campbell, Development Director, at 520.529.1032 Ext 105 or [email protected] for questions and donation leads.

All auction items require the proper Auction Donation Form and Donation Receipt (provided to the donor). Please see the Fresh Letter from the auction committee regarding donations.
