The annual Tucson Waldorf School alumni reunion was held at the school on Sunday, January 4. Almost every TWS graduating class, going back to Sandra Cook’s 6th-grade Class of 2003, was represented by alumni, their families, and their teachers. Participants shared memories of Kate Donnelly, beloved former TWS early childhood teacher who died on December 13, and Heidi Johnson led the group in two of Miss Kate’s kindergarten circle activities. Ms. Johnson also supervised javelin throwing and a rousing alumni game of spaceball.
The alumni gathering is usually held annually on the first Sunday in January and is open to all former TWS students, families, and teachers. If you would like to be notified of the next gathering, please make sure TWS has your current information by visiting the alumni and community connections page.
