Tessa is originally from the Coosbay, Oregon region of the Pacific Northwest and was raised in the small town of Benson, Arizona. She most appreciates how Waldorf education nurtures and protects childhood while enabling children to love the world and love learning. Her family has been a part of the Tucson Waldorf School community since 2010. Tessa loves nature and admits to sometimes singing to her trees. She enjoys reading, hiking, being silly with her children and dancing. Tessa’s familiy includes her husband, Larry, owner of Tucson Community Acupuncture, her daughter Arya, son Quinn and their two dogs and four cats.
